The Rewritten Life

, you’ll journey through the stories of people in the Bible whose lives – and names – were changed forever by God. Along the way, you’ll come to see that God wants to be just as intimately involved in rewriting your story, so that you may become and do all that God has planned for you.

Hebrews –

“What’s the use?” At times of frustration or disappointment, it is tempting to ask this question. The original readers of Hebrews felt the same way. As we study Hebrews, we will also discuss whether the Old Testament still applies to Christians today or can we forget it? You will find lots of discussion and real life applications in this class.

Relationships – Men and women respond and react differently to the same set of circumstances. Learn what the Bible says about relationships and how God made men and women differently. Also explore how our relationship with Jesus reflects our relationships with others. Two separate studies will be explLove & Respect by Emerson Eggerichs and Laugh Your Way to a Better Marriage

by Pastor Mark Gungor.

There are 2 ongoing adult classes available for those who attend the 9:45 am worship service.

Scripture Searcher Class – This class uses the quarterly dated Adult Bible Studies curriculum published by Cokesbury, which is an official resource for the UMC.

This Fall, lessons in this study follow the theme, “Covenants With God.” This theme celebrates signs of God’s covenants, tells the stories of some of those who were called into covenant with God, and reminds us God’s covenant with us through Jesus.

Discipleship Class – This class will be focusing on The Epistles—the New Testament letters of instruction from Paul, James and Peter. This will be an in-depth study of theology and advice to Christians, then and now.
