Northwest Hills is partnering with Community Bible Study to offer to the community a Bible study program that is available for women and children of all ages.

Who is Community Bible Study for?

ADULTS

From young moms and housewives, business people, professionals, tradespeople to students, or retired.

We are just like you and your neighbors. We come from all of the Christian denominations, from no religious background, or from non-Christian faiths that simply want to study the Bible, which is the most widely published and studied book in the world.

CHILDREN & YOUTH – STUDENTS

Children and students also want to study the Bible. We offer a safe and loving environment for babies, Bible songs and stories for toddlers, and age appropriate materials for children starting at age two. School aged children typically study the same passages as the adults, allowing families to discuss the Bible together. Children and youth either study alongside an adult class or as a standalone Students class.

Community Bible Study meets once a week and includes the following 5 elements;

Individual Study – Transformation happens as individuals engage with God in His Word. Stimulating home study questions help participants apply the timeless truths of the Bible to their daily lives.

Encouraging Discussion – Participants gain additional insights and grow in their confidence with God’s Word as they discuss the passage in a safe, small group setting.

Effective Teaching –Trained teachers highlight and illustrate the central idea of the Bible passage and its practical application in each person’s life.

Insightful Commentary – Respected theologians help participants understand the historical context of the passage and how it relates to the rest of Scripture.

Caring Community – Caring leaders pray for and encourage participants to grow spiritually and connect with each other in a loving and supportive community. Discovering God is an adventure that we flesh out over steaming cups of coffee and the friendships we build with one another.
