Needlecrafter Group –
Come for a time of fellowship and crafting. Work on an individual or group project. Craft shows at the Pumpkin Patch and other church gatherings. Facilitated by Lana Arrant. Meets from 1-3 pm in the Education Building foyer.
Prime Time Potluck Lunch –
(age 60 and over) Everyone brings a dish to share for lunch and then they play games. Here is an opportunity to have some fun and spend time with other people. Meets the 4th Monday of every month at the church from 11:30-1:00.
ACTS 242 – for those who desire community and wish to explore faith. ACTS242 is designed upon the model found in the Book of Acts.
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” There will be time for fellowship, sharing of food, exploration of the bible and what it means for us today, as well as opportunities to share life concerns and have them lifted up in prayer.
Anyone who is seeking community and is interested in exploring faith in today’s world, regardless of questions or doubts, is welcome.. Contact Jeremiah Carnes at
Ladies of Leisure Lunch –
Women come together for fellowship, sharing and laughter. Each week this group goes to a different restaurant, some near, some farther away. It is always a good time. Facilitated by May Lang at
United Methodist Men’s Breakfast Meeting time: The 2nd Saturday of the month at 8 am. Meet at the church and drive to Denny’s at Loop 410 and Ingram Road. Opportunity for food and fellowship. Contact George Hampton at 372-0969.
