Learning to Think Theologically, taught by Pastor David Trawick
Theo-logy, God words. Do you know how to talk about God? Do you know how to think about God? Have you ever pondered what he’s up to in your life? In our world? What is the meaning and purpose of your life? Do you wonder about the nature of God? And what’s wrong with humanity, that we do some of the things we do? Is death the final word? These are all theological questions, and it enriches our perspective on life to be able to answer them with words about God.

SERMON DEEP DIVE, led by Joe Baumgartner
Come join me for an evening of fellowship as we discuss the Sunday Sermon. David Trawick writes and delivers in-depth sermons each Sunday that are biblically based. We will review all the Bible verses that underline the sermon and the concepts taught by David. When you know that you will be questioned on Wednesday, you will tend to be listening to the sermon just a little bit closer.

The Gospel of Mark, led by Gerry Kimsey

The Jesus we’re aching for by Lisa Harper
God’s heart is moved by your cries for help, your shouts for joy, your unspoken worries. We know him to be a God of unparalleled power and authority, but Mark’s account of Jesus paints him as a deeply personal and intimate God too.

The Epic of Eden: A Christian Entry into the Old Testament by Dr. Sandra Richter

led by Cindy Larsen, Priest of Bunyoro-Kitara Diocese, Anglican Church of Uganda
Does your knowledge of the Old Testament feel like a grab bag of people, books, events and ideas? How many times have you resolved to really understand the OT? To finally make sense of it? Perhaps you are suffering from what Sandra Richter calls the “dysfunctional closet syndrome”. If so, she has a solution. Like a home-organizing expert, she comes in and helps you straighten up your cluttered closet. Gives you hangers for facts. A timeline to put them on and handy containers for the clutter on the floor. Plus she fills out your wardrobe of knowledge with exciting new facts and new perspectives. The whole thing is put in usable order–a history of God’s redeeming grace. A story that runs from the Eden of the Garden to the garden of the New Jerusalem. This book will organize your understanding of the Old Testament and renew your enthusiasm for studying the Bible as a whole.
