. Where to find me other than the church: The gym, running errands with Jill, Starbucks (just Grande bold coffee, no “dessert in a cup” for me), the great outdoors.
Why I’m in the ministry: As a young adult I came to faith in Christ and my life received new meaning, purpose, and value. I grew up in a good church and learned plenty of Bible stories, but somehow managed to miss the real meaning of Jesus. I want others to know the wonder of the good news of Jesus and experience the difference he makes. I try to preach and teach in a way that anyone can understand. I want to build a church where it’s hard to miss the truth.
Greatest joys in ministry: Praying with someone as they receive Christ into their life, watching “the lights come on” as church goers become Christ-followers, Seeing members become ministers and some even become paid staff. So many great people and good friends. Playing trumpet in the worship band.
