Check out all the current classes for our Wednesday Night ministry.
On Wednesday nights, Ark Kids dive deeper into God’s word and to have a chance to explore the creative gifts and talents God has given them. Whether through open ended art projects, learning plays, writing short stories or poems, building with blocks, or playing games we hope to add to their love and knowledge for the Bible and its truth.

We will be offering a Bible study for all youth, ages 11-18 (grades 6-12).

Pastor Barnes’ Study:
For the first six weeks of the fall semester, Pastor Barnes will be leading the class through the second half (weeks 7-12) of Sandra Richter’s great study, The Epic of Eden. The Epic of Eden is a true Bible Study which helps the student to understand how God’s plan to redeem the earth unfolds in the Old Testament, and leads into the coming of Jesus, the Messiah. Sandra Richter’s teaching is both scholarly and understandable and speaks to the heart by way of the head.
If you have never studied The Epic of Eden before, and were not present for when we studied the first six weeks during the spring, Pastor Barnes will allow you to “catch up” by providing you with notes and a chance to watch the first six week’s video presentation.
After The Epic of Eden is completed, Pastor Barnes will be teaching a six-week class called “Where We Fit In” which focuses on how the Methodist/Wesleyan movement fits in with the church universal. This class is highly recommended for both new Christians and seasoned disciples.
Pastor Cahill’s Study:
A healthy, biblical view of marriage and the human body is vital to discipleship and the Christian life. Because of this, this semester Pastor Cahill will be teaching The Meaning of Marriage by Tim Keller (first six weeks), and For the Body by Timothy Tennent for the second six weeks. Class will be a mix of video lessons, questions from the video guides, and questions/open discussion from the pastor and class. Everyone is welcome, whether married or single, to come share and learn. Video guides for both books will be provided at no cost; books themselves can be purchased independently (if desired, not required.) Keller’s book is available on Amazon; Tennent’s on Seedbed.
