Kids Club
Kids Club on Wednesday nights a time for the kids to dive deeper into God’s word and to have a chance to explore the creative gifts and talents God has given them. Whether through open ended art projects, learning plays, writing short stories or poems, building with blocks, or playing games we hope to add to their love and knowledge for the Bible and its truth.Â
Nursery care available for children ages newborn to 3 years old.
Project 72
We will be offering two opportunities for the youth, ages 11-18 (grades 6-12)
Girls will be working through the book "The Bible In 52 Weeks For Teen Girls" by Brittany Rust. It is a weekly group study through the Bible but through the lens of a teenage girl.Â
The guys will be using the book "The Young Men We Need" by Brant Hansen. It is a look at what God's purpose is for the lives of teen boys and how they can live that purpose out. Books will be provided.
Financial Peace University
We are excited to offer Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University this spring! This 9 week course is aimed at helping individuals and families create budgets, eliminate debt, and prepare financially for the future. This class will have a $35 fee for course materials (workbook and online tools); however, if this fee is a financial hardship and you are interested in the course, scholarships are available. S.H.A.P.E. Finding and Fulfilling Your Unique Purpose for Life
S.H.A.P.E. is a 12 week study where each participant learns about how God has uniquely shaped them to serve for His Kingdom glory. We will explore our Spiritual Gifts, the passion of our hearts, abilities, personality and our life experiences. This class can be quite transforming and empowering. The class will utilize the book S.H.A.P.E.: Finding and Fulfilling Your Unique Purpose for Life by Erik Rees (Note: This book is not mandatory, but highly recommended)
Bible Study on The Book of James
When people think of studying the Bible, they often think of stretching their minds to learn about how God spoke to people in strange lands thousands of years ago; and sometimes that is the reality. This winter, however, Pastor Barnes will be offering something different: an eight-week study on practical Christian living based on the Book of James in the New Testament. Each week will feature a short video from the Rev. Dr. Abson Predestin Joseph followed by discussion of what the Word of God means to us. There is a highly recommended study guide available that may purchase directly from Seedbed.com.
